I'm officially contributing to society today as I enter the work place. . .

Babysitting kids.

Yes, today I started my job at the CDC (Child Development Center). Mostly briefing and training papers so far. (I'm on my lunch break right now so I went home.)

I'm pretty excited to get started--I've been feeling particularly lethargic lately what with not being in school or having a job.

Also, I've been working with flash lately (instead of just doodling on it like I usually do.)

Its pretty confusing stuff but I'm hoping I'll be able to teach myself something useful with that program (since there aren't any classes here I can take to learn it.)

If you know any uber awesome (and simple to understand derr derr) flash tutorials I'd be grateful.

ALSO I swing in and out of music moods and lately I've been swung into none other than. . .
SKA. Particularly ska-punk.

Thing is I only really like two bands-- The Aquabats and Reel Big Fish. I used to listen to both bands a while back but I just recently revisted them (listening to the same songs I used to).

The main thing I like about them is their joking songs and fun sound. Some other punk or ska-punk bands are fairly serious and I never really liked serious stuff so. IF YOU KNOW ANY BANDS THAT ARE A LOT LIKE THE AQUABATS AND RBF TELL MEE 8D

Need some new songs to listen to~ (Though I don't think I'll EVER get bored of RBF's "My Imaginary Friend" such an oddly awesome song.)

Anywho, its about time for me to get back to work.

Well I guess I've kind of been on a roll with my drawings lately. I haven't really drawn anything I abhor which is surprising.

I guess its like, if I stop drawing for 5 months and start drawing again in a burst of drawing-energy (we'll call it drawergy) then I come up with better stuff. . .

HMMM my art blocks last a long time(longer than 5 months I-tell-you-what). . . I don't think I've drawn anything I've liked liked since like. . . Forever ago D:

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I have a few more pictures I need to lineart and colour then we'll see if I can actually get commissions going. . .

Since I'm poor and have no JO~B and need MONEY.

OMG Ok, so like, today some people from my Japanese Class got to go to the Japanese school. It was SOOOO awesome. My partners were Yukari and Hikaru, though, I didn't get to meet Hikaru much.

Yukari and her friends were sooooo cute and hospitable. They're just so awesome 8D I hope I can meet them again soon. I want to learn Japanese even more since meeting them.

But also, there was this super cute guy in their class <_<; I wanted to talk to him but I don't know much Japanese you know x3 I was too embarrassed. But my friend told me later that I should go ahead and try anyway so I just sent an E-mail to Yukari asking the guy's name 8D

I'm not usually assertive so I think this is a good opportunity for me to start taking chances ^^

LOL That reminds me, at one point they asked me what my favourite kind of manga is and I told them "Bii Eru" short for BL which is Boys Love. And the lovely Yui-san thought I meant Beer xDDDDDDD;;;; I was like NO NO! @x@);;;;

But anyway, I hope she can understand the e-mail I sent xD I wrote it all in Japanese so I'm like <_< >_>;;;;
